烟台大学法学院；与威士康星大学法学院关于双硕士学位课程班的协议

为增进人才培养的合作，烟台大学法学院与威斯康辛大学法学院达成此协议。

　　一、项目名称

该项目的全称为“烟台大学法学院与威斯康辛大学法学院双硕士学位课程班”，简称为“双学位课程班”。

　　二、基本目的

威斯康辛大学法学院每年从烟台大学法学院在册的优秀研究生（包括法学硕士和法律硕士）中，招收5名或5名以上学生入威斯康辛大学法学院攻读LLM。

根据烟台大学和威斯康辛大学的相关规定，在通过规定的课程及取得规定的学分后，学生将获授烟台大学的法学硕士学位或法律硕士学位，以及威斯康辛大学法学院的LLM学位。

　　三、选拔标准

凡申请双学位课程班的同学应符合下列要求：

其一，烟台大学在册的攻读法学硕士或法律硕士的研究生；

其二，TOEFL考试580分以上，并且该成绩仍在有效期以内；

其三，满足由烟台大学法学院和威斯辛大学法学院制定的所有选拔要求。

　　四、选拔程序

每年11月份，威斯康辛大学法学院将派人至烟台大学，与烟台大学法学院一起，在学生申请与烟台大学法学院初步遴选的基础上，面试学生并决定合适人选。

　　五、通行证

在威斯康辛大学发出录取通知后，被录取的同学应在规定的期间内完成所有的通行证申请程序，并及时至威斯康辛大学法学院报到注册。

　　六、交通与生活费用

学生要支付在美停留期间的全部交通费、膳食费、寄宿费。如果条件允许，威斯康辛大学法学院将给予协助。

　　七、学分

在烟台大学获得的6个学分，当威斯康辛大学授予学生LLM时，将被计算在内。

学生必须在两个学期内获得威斯康辛大学针对LLM要求的全部学分（以上提到的6个学分不包括在内）。所有的学分都应为B或B以上。

学生在威斯康辛大学法学院就读的学费为威斯康辛大学固定学费的75%。建议学生自筹学费。烟台大学法学院和威斯康辛大学法学院并不承诺，但将尽力授予学生奖学金。

　　八、学位

根据威斯康辛大学的相关规定，威斯康辛大学法学院将授予适格的学生以LLM学位。

根据烟台大学的相关规定，烟台大学法学院将授予适格的学生以硕士学位。

由于在威斯康辛大学就读的原因，致使学生不能在烟台大学按时毕业的，可以申请延期硕士学位论文答辩，并在规定的期限内通过答辩。

　　九、细节

烟台大学法学院和威斯康辛大学法学院将进一步具体化该计划和项目的要求，该协议仅为基本原则。

　　十、有效性

该协议包括中文本和英文本，两种文本具有同等的法律效力。自双方代表签字之日起，该协议生效。该协议的有效期为5年。该协议的未尽事项，可以由双方当事人通过事后谈判的方式解决。该协议经由双方当事人书面同意，可予以补充、修改或终止。

Agreement on a Dual Degree Program at the Master’s Level

Between YanTaiUniversityLawSchool

And University of WisconsinLawSchool

The Law School of Yan Tai University and the University of Wisconsin Law School conclude this Agreement for the purpose of promoting the cooperation on talent cultivation.

I.                   The Title of the Program

The title of this program is “Dual Degree Program at the Mater’s Level between YanTaiUniversityLawSchool and University of Wisconsin Law School”, and “Dual Degree Program” in short.

II.                 The Basic Aim

The University of Wisconsin Law School enrolls five or more enrolled excellent graduate students (including graduate students pursuing LLM degree and JM degree) of Yan Tai  University Law School every year to pursue LLM degree at the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Graduate Students will be granted LLM degree or JM degree of YanTaiUniversity and LLM degree of the University of Wisconsin Law School after passing the required coursework and getting the required credits, according to the rules of  YanTaiUniversity and the rules of the University of Wisconsin.

III.             Selecting Standard

Every student who applies for the Dual Degree Program should meet the following requirements:

-- enrolled student of YanTaiUniversity, graduate student pursuing LLM degree or JM degree.

-- TOEFL grade above 580, and in the period of validity.

-- meet all the requirements of each selection held by YanTaiUniversityLawSchool and the University of Wisconsin Law School.

IV.              The Procedure of Selection

Every November, the University of Wisconsin Law School will send people to Yan  TaiUniversity to interview students and decide the qualified students together with YanTaiUniversityLawSchool, on the basis of graduate students’ application and the primary selection held by YanTaiUniversityLawSchool.

V.                 Visa

After the University of Wisconsin sends out the admission notice, students should finish all the procedures to apply for the visa in a limited time, and register at the University of Wisconsin Law School on time.

VI.              Transportation and Living Expense

Students will pay the entire transportation fee and the board and lodging fee during their stay in the US. The University of Wisconsin Law School will provide assistance if condition permits.

VII.           Credit

The six credits that students earn during the study at YanTaiUniversity will be reckoned in the required credits, based on which the University of Wisconsin grants students LLM degree.

Students must earn all the required credits towards the LLM degree of the University of Wisconsin (the 6 credits mentioned above are not included) in two semesters. All the credits should be B or above.

The tuition for students to study at the University of Wisconsin Law School is 75% of the set tuition of the University of Wisconsin. Students are supposed to pay the tuition on their own. YanTaiUniversityLawSchool and the University of Wisconsin Law School will not promise to, but try to grant students scholarship.

VIII.        Degree

The University of Wisconsin Law School grants qualified students the LLM degree according to the rules of the university.

Yan TaiUniversityLawSchool grants qualified students Master’s Degree according to the rules of the university.

Students who fail to graduate from YanTai  University in time due to the study at the University of Wisconsin are allowed to apply for a deferment of the M.A. thesis defense, and pass the defense before the sanctified deadline.

IX.              Details

Yan TaiUniversityLawSchool and the University of Wisconsin Law School will specify details as for the plan and requirement of the program, and the basic principle follows this Agreement.

       X．   Validity

This agreement is written in both English and Chinese languages, both versions being equally valid. This agreement shall become effective commencing from the date of signature by representatives of both parties. It shall be valid for a period of five years. Issues not reflected in this agreement may be dealt with through subsequent negotiations between the two parties. This agreement may be extended, amended or terminated by the written consent of the two parties.
